55 thousand 10 students from Far West have participated in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) which started on Thursday. Out of which 27,244 male and 27,766 female students are participating.
55 thousand 376 students participated in last year's exam. Among them there were 27 thousand 830 female students and 27 thousand 546 male students. The number of examinees participating in the previous year's examination was 54 thousand 537.
South West Education Development Director Durgadatta Bista said that 211 examination centers have been designated in all nine districts for this year's examination. According to him, 211 center presidents and 374 assistant center presidents, 2743 inspectors, and 555 assistant inspectors have been appointed. Bista said that 3,163 policemen will be mobilized with 15 people deployed in one examination center. In addition, a total of 8,143 staff will be employed with 1,95 student assistants.
There are 18 thousand 720 examinees from Kailali in Far West. 10 thousand 335 from Kanchanpur, 5 thousand 87 from Baitadi, 4 thousand 950 from Acham, 4 thousand 380 from Bajhang, 3 thousand 297 from Doti, 2 thousand 934 from Bajura, 2 thousand 750 from Darchula and 2 thousand from Dadeldhura Five hundred and fifty seven students are in the exam.
