Mandala Theater celebrated 'World Theater Day' by reciting the message that art itself is peace. Dayahang Rai recited the message published by the International Drama Society on Wednesday at Mandla.
"In the world, there has always been an idea of inciting violence". The effect of the politics of not giving support to different ideas, erasing the names of opposing ideas remains the same . The technology that has been introduced in the market for the purpose of making profit by displacing different and original ideas has increased. In the era of such political and economic maneuvers, the importance of art has become more clear to us. The world is still falling into the clutches of terrorism," said the message written by painter John Force, "War and art are the names of opposite poles. This means, as opposed to war, art itself is also peace.'
On the occasion of 'World Theater Day', Mandla also released a book titled 'Reflection'. Also, the date of the upcoming theater festival has been announced. The third Nepal International Theater Festival will be held in 2025.
It has also been announced that 'Mad Fest' will be organized in June by the students of Mandla.
