The protests this time around will successfully conclude the people-oriented revolution
KATHMANDU, SEP 12 - Unified CPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Saturday said Nepal's political revolution is still not and added it is high time for a decisive revolution.
The Maoists have launched fresh protests as the senior leaders of other parties have been unable to give up their status quoits ideology, he opined while inaugurating a plantation programme at Chobar in Kirtipur.
He said, "Several revolutions done in the past have only resulted in compromise due to the status quoits ideology of some leaders… The protests this time around will successfully conclude the people-oriented revolution."
Former guerrilla leader Dahal who led the Maoists in the decade-long armed conflict said the general public is still apprehensive about the timely drafting of the new constitution.
He claimed the Maoist protests are intended to fulfill public aspiration.
