Construction of 'Great Trail' has started in Helambu Rural Municipality of Sindhupalchok. The target is to build 60 km, so far 6 km has been completed.
Jugal, Langtang, Ganesh and Gaurishankar Himals that can be seen from this place will attract everyone. Nima Galzen Sherpa, Chairman of Helambu Rural Municipality, said that the construction of the Great Trail has been started targeting internal and external tourists.
Now domestic tourists come to this place to visit, take photos and videos. Chairman Sherpa said that even though the construction was started from a height of 2500 meters, the Great Trail will be built up to a height of 5000 meters. It will cost 4 billion rupees to complete the construction. Stairs and walls have been made by carving attractive stones in the village.
