Civic Liberation Party Chairman Shrestha's instructions to party leaders to withdraw from Sudurpaschim government

The Civil Liberties Party president, who is caught up in an internal dispute over whether to maintain support for the current Congress-led government in the Far West or withdraw from it, wrote a letter to the party leaders on Friday and gave this instruction. "As per the decision to withdraw the support given to the government in the meeting of the Central Committee held in Tikapur on the 14th on Wednesday, I instruct you to withdraw the support from the government accordingly, and to come out of the government," the letter he wrote on Friday states, "otherwise the constitution of the party will be drawn." Soon after it was made public, Chaudhary, the leader of the party's parliamentary party in the state assembly, responded that the decision was not valid. "Resham Chowdhury's absent meeting decision cannot be valid," leader Chowdhury said, "it does not seem like a quorum was reached in the said meeting." One MP, Lakshman Kishore Chaudhary, has written a note of dissent. Therefore, the decision of today's meeting has no meaning. Party leader Chaudhary is the Minister of Economic Affairs of the state government.

Countering the instructions of President Shrestha, the parliamentary party on Thursday assigned the task to Laxman Kishore Chaudhary and Khushiram Dagaura Tharu, who are non-departmental ministers from the party.

In the activism of Resham Chaudhary, five people including one state minister were appointed as ministers out of the seven MPs of the party supporting the government of Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah in the Congress-led government. Chaudhary is the minister of economic affairs, Rameshwar Chaudhary is the minister of land management, agriculture and cooperatives, Khusiram Dagaura Tharu is the minister of industry, tourism, forest and environment, Laxman Kishore Chaudhary is the minister of social development, and Indira Giri is the state minister of land management, agriculture and cooperatives.

All the five ministers who are ministers have been saying that the decision to withdraw support made by the party is not valid and that they are in support of the Congress-led government. After the letter of Chairman Shrestha, the response of the parliamentary party and the ministers in the government has not been received.

Kamal Bahadur Shah's government is in the Far West under the leadership of the Congress. But he is in the minority. According to a close source, Chief Minister Shah, who is in the final exercise to save the government, is in a 'wait and see' state of mind regarding the decision on civil immunity.
