Eight passengers were injured in a microbus accident in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1 Ramnagar on Narayangadh-Muglin road this Thursday morning. Four of the injured are in serious condition. DSP Sriram Bhandari, spokesperson of Chitwan District Police Office, said that the condition of one person is moderate and the remaining three are normal.
DSP Bhandari informed that the accident took place at 5 am when the security check was being conducted in front of the Nepal Police Highway Safety and Traffic Management Office in Ramnagar.
When the police stopped to check the passenger bus number 01-006 kha 4888 going to Kathmandu from Jhapa, the micro bus number 2 kha 225 hit the back of the bus . After hitting the bus, the micro went out of control and crashed into the garage run by Kamala Neupane's house. The injured are passengers of a micro bus.
The injured is being treated at the teaching hospital of Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur. The police have arrested the microbus driver.
