High level national security training is over

The high-level national security training organized jointly by the Ministry of Defense and the Nepali Army ended on Friday. The training started from 30th of February at Military Command and Staff College, Shivpuri. In which 29 learners participated.
On that occasion, Defense Minister Hari Prasad Upreti mentioned that security is a multifaceted, interrelated and multi-agency issue. He said that for a strong national security, there is a need for continuous dialogue, coordination and cooperation to develop a common understanding and a common perception on security issues among the relevant agencies of the state.
He said that through the active efforts of everyone, the national security policy will be effectively implemented and internal and external security will be strengthened in the country.
222 people have been trained so far from various ministries, constitutional bodies, universities, government and non-government organizations, media, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal and National Investigation Department from this training which started in 2072.
