Two people were killed last night in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-26 Dholahiti. Nareshraj Subedi, Spokesperson of District Police Complex Lalitpur, informed that two people were killed in a clash between two groups at 9:00 pm.
'After bringing the injured to the Patan hospital at 11 o'clock at night, the police were informed. Immediately some people were arrested and interrogated at the scene. The cause of the incident has not been revealed, he said.
Among the deceased are 28-year-old Rovas Rai, a native of Dharan in Sunsari district and currently living in Dholhiti, and 30-year-old Pujan Rai, a native of Panchthar district and currently residing in Khumaltar, spokesman Subedi said. The bodies have been kept at Patan and Sumeru Hospitals. The police arrested 18 people last night on suspicion of being involved in the incident.
