This year's SEE exam conducted by the National Examination Board from today has started peacefully in 2 thousand 64 exam centers across the country. It started simultaneously across the country from 8 am today.

Chairman of the board Mahashram Sharma informed that the first day of the exam to be completed on 27th of March, there will be an English subject exam. He called upon all the stakeholders to complete the SEE in an orderly, dignified, fair, fearless and peaceful environment . In the

exam, 250,772 female students, 253,627 students and 15 other students from 10,806 schools, 10,806 schools and 5,444,444 students filled the form for class 10 examination. Nandalal Paudel, SEE Exam Controller of the Control Office informed.

Out of the total number of examinees, 15,749 examinees from five hundred and six schools are from the technical side, he said. 15 examinees from sexual and gender minority communities are participating in the examination. For

exams, the least number of examination centers have been established in Manang, Mustang, and the highest number of 127 examination centers in Kathmandu. 23 students, including 15 female and eight male students, are taking the exam from an examination center established at Everest School in Japan. 77 thousand four hundred and 85 manpower has been mobilized directly for the

exam. Center president is appointed at the rate of one person per center . Similarly, 4,128 assistant center presidents at the rate of one person for every 150 students, 25,222 inspectors at the rate of one person for every 20 students informed the exam controller Paudel.

Similarly, five thousand and 54 examination assistants have been assigned at the rate of one person for 100 examinees, while 10 thousand and 81 office assistants have been assigned for one office assistant for 50 examinees. 30,960 security personnel at the rate of 15 persons have been mobilized in each examination center.

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology issued the 'Letter Grading Guideline 2078' on the 7th of January 2078 through a ministerial decision and applied it to this year's examination.

Exam controller Paudel said that the examinee must score at least 35 percent marks in theoretical subjects and 40 percent marks in practical subjects, and said that 35 marks must be scored in subjects with 100 whole marks and 27 marks in subjects with 75 whole marks .

Paudel, the controller of the examination, will not be admitted to class 11 if he scores less than 35 percent and will have to participate in the chance examination again. He informed that students who cannot score 35 marks will be given a chance to take the exam in two subjects in the first year. Students will be allowed to participate in the Grade Enhancement Test up to three times in two subjects .
