Boris Adhikari and Dev Ashish Reule won the men's singles at the 10th Citizens Bank Open tennis tournament on Sunday.

Boris defeated Mukim Thapa 6-4 and 7-5 and Dev defeated Ranjit Achami 6-7, 6-3 and 7-5 on the court of Army Club in Bhadrakali. Ayushman Hazur Ghale, Sawin Shrestha, Nihaljung Thapa, famous Moktan, Govind Nepali and Darshil Shrestha also won their respective matches in the other matches of the competition.

Amit Gurung, Ram Bahadur Nepali, Sovit Gauchan, Dawa Sonam Sherpa, Naveen Shrestha, Pravesh Pant, Elam Dixit, Kumar Tamang and Akshya Thapa won the men's singles over 35 years at the National Sports Council Covered Hall. In men's over 55 singles, Shivprasad Sedhain, Jorom Idu, Ram Rana, Lakpa Sherpa, Rajesh Chhetri, Amritratna Kansakar, Uttam Bogti and Manojvikram Shah won the first round.

Yuvraj Thapa, Kamal Bahadur Bhandari, Amrut Rokka, Surya Giri, Balram Sapkota and Sukman Tamang started victoriously in the men's singles over 45 years of age of the tournament which is being held with the technical support of Nepal Tennis Association and the main sponsorship of Citizens Bank. The pair of Victory Rana and Victor Rana achieved success in men's doubles over 65 years of the tournament organized by the Tennis Association. Inaugurating the

competition, the Chief Executive Officer of Citizens Bank, Ganeshraj Pokharel, promised that Citizens Bank would continue to sponsor the competition. 151 players are participating in 11 events. The total prize money of the competition with cash prizes in all competitions is 5 lakh 82 thousand 500 rupees.
