A 6-member team including 5 players will go to Russia on Saturday to participate in the Asian City Chess Team Championship.
Purushottam Chaulagai, Sushrut Dahal, Govindaman Shrestha, Indra Kumar Basnet and Sagar Shrestha will participate in the competition to be held from April 20 to 30.
Raju Tamrakar, coordinator of the tournament, said that the players were selected from the sixth Tulsilal Amatya Smriti National Club Team Chess Tournament held in Pus. Their team was the first in the competition. Official is Sajal Karki.
National Sports Council Member-Secretary Tanklal Ghising bid farewell to the team.
