Due to a sudden storm, the boat overturned in Phewatal. Armed Police Force, Kalika Gana Kaski said that five people including a girl were safely rescued from the boat.
According to Police Chief SP Arun Paudel, 30-year-old Bikram Mikarani, 26-year-old Ashifa Bhanu, 54-year-old Anaija Dil Shah, 8-year-old Rajina Khatun and 18-month-old Mira Rani who were in the boat were rescued.
The boat overturned due to a sudden storm around 4 pm on Tuesday. SP Paudel said that they were rescued when they were stuck in the nets of the fishing center of Fewatal.
