The under-construction bridge across the three rivers on the Diktel-Chakhevabhanjang road section of the Madhyapahari Lokmarg has reached its final stage. Bhalukhola, Mewakhola and Chhepekhola bridges have reached the final stage.
Hark Pradhan, Information Officer of Madhyapahari Planning Office, Dhulikhel, said that the physical progress of the 20-meter long bridge under construction in Diktel Rupakot Mazhuwagadhi Municipality-2, Bhalukhola in Solma and Ward No. 6 in Nerpa of the said municipality, has seen 80 percent physical progress. He says that the economic progress is also seen at 80 percent. Approach road work is going on in both the said bridges. "All that is left is the blackening of the approach road of both bridges, railings and painting," Pradhan said. This is a matter of happiness.
KM Engineers Wilders Pvt. An agreement was made with the road department on 22nd of June 2079 to be completed within 22nd of June 2081. Mohan Karki, Managing Director of KM Engineers Wilders Pvt Ltd involved in the construction, said that the approach road and painting of both bridges will be completed by April. Karki said that both bridges will be completed two months before the contract period.
Similarly, the under-construction bridge at Chhepekhola on the border of Nerpa and Solma in the same road section has been completed and vehicles have started moving. Sagarmatha Sajiv JV took the contract to be completed by 11th November 2080 at a cost of 3 crore five lakh 80 thousand 137 rupees. But Krishna Ghimire, who was involved in the construction, said that due to the disruption of the work due to the local, state and federal elections and the agitation conducted by identity supporters in Kosi province, it could not be completed on time. Ghimire says that there is a plan to complete the work of railings, painting and blackening of the approach road in a few days. "The remaining work will be completed in a few days," Ghimire said, "It seems that the deadline should be extended to receive the payment, maybe it will be more."
