Visit of Qatari Emir: Four planes including two business jets in Kathmandu

Tribhuvan International Airport has implemented a notice (notam) issued to aviation personnel for one hour from 4 to 5 pm. Within this time, two business jets connected with the Qatari Emir's visit will land in Kathmandu via Dhaka. According to

sources, during the Amir's visit, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal gave permission to four planes to fly to Nepal on Sunday. Aamir will be on one of the flights. On the other plane, there are his assistants and employees. The plane carrying the allies has landed in Kathmandu on Tuesday morning. Another business jet of Airbus is landing in Kathmandu along with Amir's flight as a 'stand-by'. Amir is coming to Nepal on an Airbus A-340 plane. That plane with four engines has a capacity of around 350 passengers. But it is said that there will be around 40 people including Amir in that plane.

If there is any technical problem with the plane he is coming to, the 'stand-by' plane will be used for Amir . After the Airbus A-340-211 aircraft scheduled for 'stand-by' has landed from Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon, the plane carrying Amir will land last. His plane is said to be an Airbus A-340-541.

Qatar Airways' subsidiary company 'Qatar Executive' took the initiative for all these flights from Doha through the Qatari Embassy in Kathmandu.

Among the four planes for the state visit, the Gulf Stream G 650 ER plane has landed in Kathmandu on Monday . That plane had brought the ship's instruments and equipment needed for Amir's business jet after landing. This aircraft is famous all over the world for its long distance flights. The world's VVIPs, rich, entrepreneurs, celebrities use Gulfstream G650ER aircraft to travel from one continent to another.

In this tour, all the four planes do not have to pay the landing parking fee to Tribhuvan International Airport. However, an airport service charge of Rs 3300 per passenger will be charged for all VVIPs including Amir.
