A team including Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Upendra Yadav conducted emergency monitoring of Kantibal Hospital on Wednesday. During the monitoring, Minister Yadav, Director of Aspalat Dr. Pankaj Rai gave a briefing about various departments. "Any child brought to the hospital for treatment should be stopped without being treated because the ICU bed is not empty or the machine is broken," he said during the monitoring. .'
Minister Yadav also instructed to immediately repair and resume the service of CT scan, MRI, X-ray machines which are in a broken state during the hospital monitoring . Likewise, he also arranged for all medicines to be available in the pharmacy operating within the hospital, director Dr. Rai was instructed.
Similarly, Minister Yadav also suggested to adopt digital technology to manage hospital services according to the first decision he made on the day he started his tenure. "To end the situation where patients have to wait in line for hours to get tickets and reports, make an arrangement where tickets can be bought online and reports can be viewed or downloaded online," he said.
