Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that homework is being done to declare the health insurance program as a campaign of national pride.

'The government is doing its homework on issues such as integrating all types of health protection programs through health insurance and declaring health insurance as a campaign of national pride,' said Prime Minister Dahal.
In order to reduce the financial risk of citizens during health treatment, Prime Minister Dahal mentioned that the social health insurance program is being implemented through the Health Insurance Board. Households and 24.7 percent of the population have come under the scope of health insurance and health insurance has reached 751 municipalities.
In order to solve the problems seen in the health insurance program, Prime Minister Dahal informed that the health insurance regulations are in the process of being amended with the provision of online membership and activation of the insurance upon renewal. .
