The Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal (SAN) has organized the 23rd Annual Conference 'Sancon 2024' in Kathmandu. More than 100 expert doctors in Nepal and more than 30 experts from different countries in the world will participate in the conference which started from Friday.

The conference will be held till Saturday at Hyatt Regency Hotel in Taragaon, Kathmandu.

This conference will be attended by experts in the fields of anesthesia, intensive care and pain management, as well as healthcare workers. The conference will discuss knowledge sharing, networking, and the latest developments and best practices in the field of anesthesiology. Sandeep Bhandari informed.

This type of program will help to upgrade and improve the level of service, safety and practice of anesthesiology and surgery in Nepal, he said. In addition to this, San claimed that this type of program can play a role in the promotion of the country's tourism sector. About 500 foreign speakers/representatives from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, United States of America, Sri Lanka, Maldives, Bhutan, Canada, Australia, UK, China, Japan, Malaysia and other countries are expected to participate in this program.
