Fourth Mills Gold Cup to APF

APF, the winner of the first edition of the tournament, won the fourth title by defeating the young Kabal Biratnagar by 3-1 goals in the final match held on Saturday at Virat Jutmil Stadium. With the win, APF got 2 lakh 11 thousand 100 rupees in cash, while Pema had to settle for 1 lakh 11 thousand rupees.

On behalf of APF, Bharat Kapali, Dishan Rai and Dhan Bahadur Shrestha scored goals and gave the team the title. On behalf of Pema Yuva Club, Milan Rai scored the consolation goal. In the

match, the home team Pema Yuva took the lead through Milan Rai's goal. In the 11th minute of the match, Rai scored a goal from Suraj Subba's cross and gave the team the lead.

Pema's lead did not last even two minutes. APF's Bharat Kapali scored a goal in the 13th minute of the game to bring the team back into the game. Kapali scored with one touch after Pema's goalkeeper Arun parried the ball and returned it to the debox.

APF added 2 goals in the second half of the match which ended in a 1-1 draw in the first half. In the 60th minute, Dishan Rai doubled the lead with Hari Karki's shot pass. In the 74th minute, Dhan Bahadur Shrestha scored a goal and confirmed the team's victory. He made good use of Deason's pass. APF's Dishan Rai was declared the player of the match of the

tournament. Hari Karki of APF became the high scorer. He scored three goals in the game. The best goalkeeper was Suzan Bick of APF and Komal Khawas of Yuva Clubal was declared the tournament of the year.

Eight 'A' division clubs from Koshi and Madhesh provinces participated in the tournament, which started on 7th Baisakh.
