Abhilasha Bista and Sunira Thapa have reached the women's singles final of the 10th Citizens Bank Open Tennis Tournament.
Abhilasha defeated Adhya Poudel 6-1, 6-2 and Sunira defeated Samriddhi Maharjan in straight sets 6-0, 6-0 at the tennis court in Tripureshwar on Thursday.
In men's singles, Pradeep Khadka and Pranab Manandhar confirmed the final. Pradeep defeated Pranav Khanal by 6-3, 6-2 and Pranav defeated Hrithik Rana by 7-5, 7-6 sets. In the
mixed doubles, the pair of Pradeep and Mahika Rana defeated the pair of Aisa Dolkar Gurung and Aryan Giri 6-2, 7-5 and the pair of Hrithik and Abhilasha defeated the pair of Bhagwati Vick and Suman Lama 6-0, 6-1 to secure the final.
Veteran Over 35 men's singles Jitendra Pariyar defeated Seemant Gurung 6-0, 6-1 and Santosh Khatri defeated Anil Sai in straight sets 6-2, 6-3 to reach the finals. In men's doubles above 55 years, Bimal Kumar Waiba and Himal Sah defeated Jeevan Ghimire and Shiv Prasad Sedhai by 2-6, 6-3, 11-9 and Kamal Thapa and Chyamba Dhundup defeated Chandra Shahi and Som Bahadur Lalchan by 6-2, 6-3. Defeated and decided to travel to the finals.
Veteran Over 35 men's doubles pair of Anil and Seemant defeated the pair of Santosh Khatri and Chhewang Lama 6-4, 3-6, 10-4 and the pair of Jitendra Pariyar and Elam Dixit beat the pair of Bhishmanjung Gurung and Dev Chhetri 7-6 and 6-3 Defeated and made it to the finals.
