Class 12 exams have started simultaneously across the country from 8 am today. Board Chairman Mahashram Sharma informed that the examination conducted by the National Examination Board in 1,525 examination centers of 77 districts started peacefully from 8 am.
The board had determined a total of 1,526 examination centers across the country and 1,526 outside the country in Japan. Exams have been conducted by sending question papers by e-mail to the examination center in Japan. Chairman of the board Sharma said, 'Class 12 examination has started peacefully from 8 am today across the country. We have received information that the students participated in the examination with enthusiasm.'
This year, three hundred and ninety thousand eight hundred and forty seven examinees have participated in the examination, consisting of one lakh ninety six thousand nine hundred fourteen female students and one hundred ninety three thousand nine hundred thirty three male students . Similarly, one lakh six hundred and 50 students have participated in grade improvement. Students from 5,542 schools across the country have participated in the Class 12 exam.
Out of a total of 1,526 examination centers, the most 144 examination centers have been determined in Kathmandu and one each in Manang and Mustang. 34 thousand 171 manpower and 18 thousand 300 police have been mobilized for conducting the
examination, including center president, assistant center president, inspectors, employees, office assistants. This year also the question paper has been sent online. A 'time password' has been arranged when sending the question paper by email.
