Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) of Kathmandu Metropolitan City has released his poetry collection 'Ashra' on the occasion of his birthday. By publishing a photo of the poetry collection on social media on Friday, the mayor also thanked everyone who wished him a happy birthday.
More than one hundred poems composed by Balen are collected in 'Ashra'. The first section of the collection contains short poems on love, the second on love-separation, the third on politics and the fourth on philosophy. Each page of the
poetry collection includes a sketch to go along with the poem. Bookhill Publications Pvt Ltd has published the collection of poems priced at Rs 666. Balen informed that the poetry collection will be available in the market from Saturday.
