After Kushal Bhurtel was caught behind the wicketkeeper by Junaid Siddiqui on the first ball of the match, the Nepali innings was completely subdued at Al Amerat in Muscat.

Another opener Asif Shaikh hit a six but managed to score only 8 runs in 11 balls. Captain Rohit Poudel also could not stand learning for long . He played 18 balls and scored only 5 runs. Kushal got out with 3 runs in 5 balls and Dipendrasingh Airey scored 5 runs in 8 balls.

Zora got out for 50 runs . This is his third fifty in Twenty20 internationals. He played 40 balls and hit 4 fours and 2 sixes. Gulshan and Karan KC were the other two scorers from Nepal. Gulshan scored 20 with 1 four and six in 16 balls and Karan scored 17 runs in 12 balls with two sixes.

Sompal was dismissed for 2 runs. Avinash Bohra 1 and Lalit Rajvanshi remained unbeaten with 2 runs. Siddiqui, Ali Naseer and Basil Hameed took 2 wickets each from UAE. Siddiqui gave 26 runs in 4 overs, Nasir gave 28 runs in 4 overs and Hamid gave 4 runs in 2 overs . Safi Rahman, Ayaan Afzal Khan and Mohammad Farooq took 1 wicket each.
