Bagchaur municipality has won the title of inter-municipality, district-level and Sarada Mayor Cup T-20 cricket tournament.
In the final match, Bagchaur won the title by defeating the team of Sharda municipality by 15 runs. After winning the toss and choosing to bat, the Bagchaur team scored 118 runs after losing 8 wickets in 20 overs, while the Sharda Municipality team was limited to 133 runs. Sharda, who went into the counter-batting, lost all the wickets in 15.4 overs and could add only 103 runs.
Winner Bagchaur received 1 lakh cash and runner-up Sharda received 50,000 cash prize, Salyan Cricket Association President Savin Hamal said. Hemraj Basnet of Bagchaur, who took 28 runs and 2 wickets in the match, Best Player, Best Batsman Aswin Singh of Sharda, Best Bowler Tek Bahadur Dangi of Triveni Rural Municipality, Emerging Player Sumit Bhandari of Trivaini, Little Master Vimochan Thapa of Chhatreswari Rural Municipality, Best Fielder Hemraj Basnet of Bagchaur, Mohan Khatri of Triveni as the Keeper And Suraj Budhathoki of Sharda was selected as the best player. The
competition was held from March 28 at Trijamavi's playground in Sarada 2 Luhaping. Players from 8 municipalities participated in the competition.
