The agreement between Nepal Volleyball Association (NVA) and Kelme, an international sports equipment manufacturer, has been renewed. The union signed an agreement with Kelmes on Thursday.
Jitendra Bahadur Chand, President of Nepal Volleyball Association and Pradeep Neupane, Country Director of Kelme, signed the sponsorship agreement. According to
president Chand, the volleyball association has signed a sponsorship agreement with Kelme for three years. According to the agreement, Kelme will provide sports materials including jerseys to Nepal's national women's and men's volleyball teams and four junior teams.
It is said that Kelme will provide sports materials worth about 1 crore rupees to the volleyball association in three years. Chand said that with the agreement, the association has now got a break from the problems and hassles they were facing in the management of game materials including jerseys for the national players.
Pradeep Neupane, Country Director of Kelme, said that he was happy to formally collaborate with the Volleyball Association. He expressed his belief that this relationship between Kelme and Nepal Volleyball Association will be extended for 10-20 years and it will make volleyball more professional. President Chand said that Kelmi will provide 100 nets and 400 balls to the association after the
agreement. Chairman Chand informed that the game material will be provided to the clubs, states and districts that have contributed significantly to the development of volleyball in Nepal.
