The selection of the Chief Minister of the Far West has been thrown into confusion after the UML said that it cannot support the United Socialists until the Center gives instructions. Although it was agreed on Tuesday to give the leadership of Far West to the Samajwadi Party in the power coalition, the process of forming the government has been delayed as UML did not support it.

UML's opposition to CPN S candidates in Far West

Samajwadi's secretariat meeting on Wednesday has already decided to advance the leader of the provincial parliamentary party to the position of chief minister. However, UML has taken a stand that they cannot support him as Chief Minister and should send another one. UML parliamentary party leader Rajendrasinh Rawal said that support cannot be given until clear instructions are received from the party. The blueprint has not been prepared so far. We will do whatever the instructions come within the time to submit the claim till Thursday," he said.

Earlier in the power coalition, the leadership of Far West was supposed to be alternated between civil liberties and socialists. However, there was a commotion when the Samajwadi Party went against the ruling coalition, expressing disagreement over the decision to be led by Mukti. The Samajwadi Party supported Lakshman Kishore Chaudhary of civil emancipation in collaboration with the Congress and RPP as the Chief Minister.

As this will affect the central alliance itself, the top leaders of the alliance were ready to give the Samajwadi Chief Minister in Far West. After the agreement, the Samajwadi Party withdrew its support to Chaudhary on Tuesday. Unmuktika Choudhary has been displeased with the fact that he supported Unmuktika Chaudhary in the submission of the Chief Minister's claim.

On Tuesday, Ranjita Shrestha's supporter Kailash Chaudhary also submitted a claim to the Chief Minister with the support of UML, Maoists. Provincial Chief Minister Nazir Mian mentioned that the claimants belong to the same party and once again called for submission of claims according to 168 (2) of the Constitution by fixing the time till 5 pm on Thursday.

Laxmankishore group of civil liberties, which had previously submitted a claim to the Chief Minister, is preparing to go to court on Thursday for legal treatment, said Congress Kailali secretary Nrip Sunar. "Lakshman Kishore Chaudhary submitted the claim with a clear majority with the signatures of four parliamentary party leaders. There was no reason not to appoint him," Sunar said. "We will go for legal treatment."
