The police have arrested 11 people on the charge of killing Bikas Oli. Last Tuesday night in Kumakh Rural Municipality-5 Kalche, while returning from a wedding feast, 21-year-old Bikas Oli of Ward No. 6 Badagaon was beaten to death by police in Ward No. Police arrested 11 youths of 5 on Thursday.
Those arrested are from Kumakh Rural Municipality- 5, Bharat Budhathoki, 18 years old, Mansingh Kumai, 20 years old, Santosh Kumai, 18 years old, Hemant Thapa, 18 years old, Bimal Kumai, 18 years old, Hemant Budhathoki, Tikaram Thapa, Dandavir Kumai, Manvir Kumai, Lokandra Thapa and Jhalak Kumai are there.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Navin Karki informed that all those who were arrested and who were detained by the district court for 5 days in the case of duty killing and now in the custody of the district police office Salyan.
According to him, while dancing and singing at a local's wedding on Tuesday evening, Mansih Kumai, Bharat Budhathoki and other youths were making noise about the flags decorated at home, using obscene words. Budhathoki, Mansingh Kumai and other youths beat Shusil KC of 18 years and Madan KC of 28 years along with Oli around 9 o'clock on Tuesday night.
Oli died for treatment. The other two people are being treated at the Mission Hospital in Chaurzahari.
