On Saturday, the police arrested a couple with the drug marijuana from Kataharia Municipality of Rautahat.
42-year-old Anant Barailly (driver) and his wife Manju Barailly, 35, of Nijgarh-1, Bara, were arrested with about 10.5 kg and 500 grams of ganja. Police Inspector Jhalak Prasad Sharma of District Police Rautahat said that the team deployed from temporary police post Chedichowk stopped the autorickshaw number 2-03-001 H-315 at Kataharia-2 and found marijuana wrapped in red plastic under the driver's seat. 'We are finding out where the ganja came from and who is the seller,' he said, 'everything will be revealed after questioning the arrested couple.' Vigilance was increased in the area. The police came to know that the drug dealers from Makwanpur were easily using the Dhansar route. Because of this, Police Inspector Sharma informed that they managed to catch the Baraeli couple with marijuana.
