One person died after falling from the cliff. 58-year-old Ram Bahadur Rai of Barahpokhari Village-4 Phaktang died after falling from a hill.
Purushottam Khadka, Deputy Superintendent of Police, District Police Office, Khotang, said that while returning from a feast of pasni of a relative in Barahpokhari Village-5 Pauwasera, he fell from a cliff and died on Wednesday.
According to Khadka, the police team deployed from the area administration office at Khotangbazar completed the legal process on Thursday morning and sent the body to the health post at Beltar in Udaipur for post-mortem. DSP Khadka said that after receiving the information about the incident, the police from Huknazor reached the spot on Wednesday.
