The import of petroleum products from the eastern border of Kakdbhita has decreased. The Mechi Customs Office has informed that in the eight months of the financial year 2080/081, the import of petroleum products has decreased by one billion 2884 million 10 thousand rupees compared to the same period of the previous year.
Petrol, diesel, kerosene and LP gas imported from Kakdvitta are being sold and distributed through local petrol pumps in Jhapa, Ilam, Panchthar and Taplejung districts.
