Meeting between President Poudel and Emir of Qatar: Discussion on climate change and bilateral relations

On the occasion of a bilateral meeting with Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani of Qatar, who came to Nepal on Tuesday afternoon on a two-day state visit to Nepal at the friendly invitation of President Paudel, he said that said .

Similarly, Qatar's Amir Al Thani said that the world is in trouble due to the effects of climate change and if everyone follows the agreements related to its mitigation, good results will be obtained and a pleasant environment will be prepared for everyone . He expressed his belief that this visit will be fruitful for identifying more areas of cooperation by establishing better relations with Nepal. Amir Al Thani expressed his gratitude for the great contribution of Nepalis in the development of Qatar.

He expressed his belief that the understanding and agreement between the two countries on Wednesday will increase new opportunities for investment in areas such as water resources, agriculture and tourism in Nepal.

Similarly, President Paudel said that Nepal and Qatar have always had harmonious relations and made it clear that our relations are based on friendship, mutual respect, trust and harmony.

Mentioning that the tradition of exchanging high-level visits on a regular basis between the two countries has played an important role in the expansion of bilateral relations, President Paudel said that this historic visit has taken the relationship between Nepal and Qatar to a new height.

President Paudel also expressed his belief that Qatar's support will continue in Nepal's efforts to achieve development and prosperity, noting that Nepal has now moved forward on the journey of economic development and prosperity with the issues of political transformation being resolved.
