Discourse Double will organize a two-day 'Vichar Utsav' in Kathmandu

Vishnu Dhungel, coordinator of the program and president of Nepal Law Campus, informed that different debate sessions will be conducted on 22nd and 23rd of Baisakh in the idea festival to be held at Nepal Law Campus, Ratnarajya Campus and Vishwabhasha Campus.

About 80 speakers from Nepal and India will participate in 20 sessions in the two-day thought festival. There will be a debate on two dozen topics including contemporary politics, university problems, migration of young manpower abroad, cinema, environment, literature, music, art, urban beauty. Politicians, writers, analysts, professors, artists, poets, film directors, etc. will debate their respective topics in the program. Writer and analyst Sike Lal will give a keynote speech on the topic of 'Nepali society in intellectual capacity' at the

event. Similarly, Dr. Saroj Giri, associate professor and analyst of Delhi University, will debate about the changing politics of India. Apart from the ideological debate, there will be a drama exhibition at the festival. Similarly, painting exhibition, cartoon exhibition and musical festival will also be organized, said Dhungel.

Discourse Double was started in the year 2071 with the activism of students studying in Ratna Rajya Campus, Law Campus and other colleges. After this, the forum was conducting monthly debate series. About 100 debate programs have been organized in ten years, said Naresh Regmi, the founder of Dubli. Coordinator Dhungel said that 'Vichar Utsav' is going to be held in the campus to promote ideological studies and debates in the university.
