RUKUM, OCT 05 - Dhanu Maya BK of Gotamkot VDC-9 died of diarrhoea recently, pushing the three-month toll from a diarrhoea outbreak in the district to 66. According to the District Police Office Rukum, some 700 residents of Gotamkot are suffering from the disease.                      

The latest death and increasing number of patients contradict the government claim that it has brought the outbreak under control.
