‘Math Olympiad’ competition

KATHMANDU, APR 14 - The final result of the first nationwide ‘Mathematics Olympiad’ will be announced on Monday.

The first winner of the competition held three weeks ago in Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Butwal, Surkhet, Bharatpur and Dang will get a cash prize of Rs 50,000.

The second and third champions will get Rs 30,000 and Rs 20,000 respectively, according to the organiser, Bloom Nepal School.

During the competition, Math skills and abilities of Grade 11 and 12 students were tested. (PR)
