KATHMANDU, NOV 29 - Atif Aslam, live in concert
Songs like Woh Lamhe, Pehli Nazar and Tu Jaane Na must no doubt figure in your list of favourite Atif Aslam songs. For those fans who’d love to hear the Pakistani pop sensation live, his upcoming concert in Kathmandu is a not-to-be missed event.
The singer will be in the Capital for this special show, and is all set to sweep you off your feet with his mesmerising numbers this Saturday at a concert at the Dasharath Rangashala in Tripureshwor. Tickets are priced at Rs 1,000 and 1,500, and the gates open at 2 pm to an instrumental concert by Nepali band Upendra and Friends.

High on the Blues
If you’re a blues enthusiast, the Himalayan Blues Festival must certainly be one of the most awaited musical events of the year for you. The annual celebration of blues is back yet again, featuring a host of international musicians, in addition to local artistes, who will surely take your musical experience to an entirely different level .
The 2012 installment of the event, which started Thursday, aims to be bigger than its predecessors, and will be jam-packed with incredible performances. The Wentus Blues Band, Sean Carney, Amy Hart, Oh No! Blue Elephant with No Hat or Straw is Flying on Air, Steady Matt, The Midnight Riders and Urja will be performing at 1905, Kantipath on Friday, with performances beginning at 6:30 pm.
