KATHMANDU, NOV 08 - Kantipur Media Group bowed out of the 14th Soaltee Crowne Plaza Super Sixes following their 29-run defeat in the quarter-final at the hands of Nepal Bank at TU Ground on Thursday.
Kantipur were restricted to 55 runs for five wickets as they faltered in acquiring the 84-run target. Gauri Shankar Dahal was the highest scorer for Kantipur. Earlier, Shanta Bahadur Shah anchored Nepal Bank innings with his 12-ball 43. Dahal picked two wickets for Kantipur.
Along with Nepal Bank, NMB Bank, Standard Chartered Bank and Embassy of India made it to the semi-finals.
