KATHMANDU, NOV 08 -
Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has sent a congratulatory message to US President Barack Obama for his re-election and hoped that Nepal-US relations would deepen in his new tenure.
In his letter to President Obama, Koirala wrote, “Peace will prevail, brotherhood will advance and democratic institutions will strengthen under your exemplary leadership. I hope President Obama will be work in this regard.”
Sending a separate congratulatory message to the Chinese leadership, Koirala wished a success for the ongoing 18th National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China that begun on Thursday in Beijing. “After electing a new leadership, I hope that Nepal-China relations will deepen further as in the past,” he stated.
