Cops ‘seize’ LPG cylinders

CHARIKOT: The District Police Office, Dolakha, has been accused of seizing 98 cylinders of cooking gas and selling them to families and friends of police personnel on Monday. LPG dealer Kumar Upreti said the police took control of the van making a delivery, while his customers waited at his shop. DSP Umesh Raj Joshi refuted the allegations. (PR)



Govt’s bills bid

KATHMANDU: In a move that could push the country into serious crisis, lawmakers from the hardline faction of the UCPN (Maoist) boycotted Monday's parliament session, foiling the government's plan to get endorsed three bills on anti-money laundering.
