Skeleton found after 3 years

KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday recovered the skeleton of Rajendra Manandhar, a resident of Thecho, Lalitpur, who had gone missing three years ago. Police found the remains after suspect Rabin Shakha confessed to his crime. According to SSP Kamal Singh Bam, Shakha killed Manadhar over his relationship with Puja Amatya, who later married Shaka.

UK education exhibition

KATHMANDU: The British Council is organising a two-day fair titled “Education UK Exhibition-2012” from February 10 at the United World Trade Centre, Tripureshwor, Kathmandu. The event aims at promoting the British education and increase understanding of the UK's expertise in education where students and parents will get chances to meet representatives from various academic institutions in the UK. Over 30 top British universities are participating in the event. (PR)
