KATHMANDU, FEB 03 -
RAK Airways of the UAE will be operating three weekly flights to Kathmandu from Ras Al Khaimah in the UAE from Feb 15.
RAK Airways CEO Omar Jahameh said that Kathmandu is a destination that appeals to both leisure and business travellers. “The stunning natural scenery and opportunities for trekking and climbing have developed Nepal into a thriving tourism destination.”
Nepali Society Travels is the carrier’s sole agent in Nepal.
According to the carrier, one-way, all-inclusive fares start at Rs 10,746 and return fares start from Rs 19,360.
There is also a free shuttle service between other emirates and RAK International Airport, which is located 30 minutes from Sharjah and 25 minutes from Dubai, for each flight, the carrier said.
RAK Airways is a private joint stock company incorporated in the RAK Investment Authority Free Zone.
