Hyatt Regency’s Joshi awarded HR Manager of the Year

KATHMANDU, FEB 03 -
Bhuwan Raj Joshi, Human Resources Director at Hyatt Regency hotel, has been conferred the CG Foundation HR Manager of the Year-2011 award.
Joshi, who was declared winner at the HR Meet 2012 here on Friday, received a cash prize of Rs 50,000. Daniel Yonzan, corporate affairs GM of Chaudhary Group, presented Joshi the cheque.
The fifth edition of the HR Meet was organised by Growth Sellers Private Limited.
Inaugurated by Secretary for Ministry of General Administration, Pratap Kumar Pathak, the meet saw participation of over 200 individuals from various organisations, including corporate houses, I/NGOs, financial institutions and academic institutions.
The one-day meet was participated by Mark Disney, chief operating officer of LCCI-Asia; Suhail Gupta from Ideas Management Consultants, India; Sohan Babu Khatri, chief executive officer of 3H Management: and Joseph B Niroula as resource persons.
The major attraction of the event was the overview session on lateral thinking and six thinking hats by Gupta.
Similarly, Niroula conducted a session on "Coaching for Peak Performance while Khatri made a presentation on 'HR Analytics—Way to achieve Excellence'.
Disney made a presentation on 'What should Human Resource Managers Expect'.
