SpiceJet’s KTM-DEL service starts Oct 7

KATHMANDU, SEP 08 -
Indian budget airline SpiceJet will start international operations with its service to Kathmandu. Beginning Oct. 7, the carrier will operate six weekly flights between Kathmandu and New Delhi.  SpiceJet will fly 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft on the route.

The base fare on the New Delhi-Kathmandu route begins from IRs. 1,499 (excluding PSF, UDF, fuel charges and taxes). A press release issued by the airline said that the fare was the most competitive in the industry.

Announcing SpiceJet’s Kathmandu service, director Kishore Gupta said, “Since the inception of SpiceJet, our goal has been to identify the needs of our passengers and try to fill gaps in connectivity.
