Editor manhandled

NUWAKOT: A group of youths vandalised the office of Gatishil, a daily published from Nuwakot district, and attacked its editor Badri Pyakurel on Monday. The attack was allegedly prompted by a news report on a brawl where a man from Battar village was hurt. (PR)



PM cancels NY trip

KATHMANDU: Following criticism of his visit to the 65th United Nations General Assembly due to begin on Sept. 14, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal said he has cancelled his trip.
