Man robbed of Rs 400,000

KATHMANDU, SEP 05 -
An unidentified motorcyle-borne gang robbed a 33-year-old man of Rs. 400,000 while he was walking near Bal Kumari bridge on Sunday afternoon. Police said the gang riding a motorcycle snatched his plastic bag in which Pradhan had kept the money and fled from the scene. Similarly, two unidentified women made off with 2.8 tolas of gold bracelet from a Dhumbarahi-based Puja Gold and Silver Jewelry shop.

Police said the women, pretending to be clients, had visited the shop and decamped with ornament when the employees were busy dealing with other clients.
