NC lays legwork for jamboree
KATHMANDU, AUG 28 -
The Nepali Congress (NC) is expecting more than 3,088 representatives in the 12th general convention scheduled for September 17-21.
In a press meet on Saturday, NC announced that the convention will be inaugurated at Khulamanch and its closed sessions will be conducted in the exhibition hall at Bhrikuti Mandap.
The participants of the convention will be accommodated in the hotels at Sundhara, Thamel, Bagbaazar and Gaushala.
The party has formed a main committee for the preparation of the convention under the coordination of its Acting Chairman Sushil Koirala under which five separate committees have been instituted to manage various affairs, including food, accommodation, publicity and internal management.
