POST REPORT

KATHMANDU, AUG 16 -
Cutting across party lines, leaders paid glowing tributes to Constituent Assembly member Ram Kumari Yadav, who died in course of treatment in a New Delhi hospital on Saturday.

Caretaker Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, Constituent Assembly (CA) Chairman Subas Nembang, Home Minister Bhim Rawal, other ministers, Maoists leaders, leaders of other political parties and CA members paid floral tributes to the deceased lawmaker at the UCPN (Maoist) party headquarters in Parisdanda where her body was kept.

Maoist secretary CP Gajurel said Yadav’s demise was a great loss for the Maoist party and revolution. “She was a source of inspiration for us.”
