POST REPORT

KATHMANDU, AUG 15 -
Body of UCPN (Maoist) lawmaker Ram Kumari Yadav, who died in course of treatment at a hospital in New Delhi on Saturday, will be airlifted to Kathmandu on Monday.

Maoist Spokesman Dinanath Sharma said process to bring the body back was delayed due to the Independence Day celebrations in India. She was admitted at Safdarjung Hospital in the Indian Capital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Sharma added Yadav’s body would be kept at party headquarters in Parisdanda, Kathmandu for paying last tributes, before performing last rites in her home district, Dhanusha, on Tuesday.

Yadav was referred to the Indian hospital for further treatment on Saturday, after preliminary treatment at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu.
