SOLUKHUMBU, JUL 21 -
Air service has been halted in Solukhumbu for the last 10 days due to bad weather. Passengers like Man Kumar Shrestha, who is in need of immediate medical attention, are badly hit due to the cancellation of flights to the remote mountainous district.

Shrestha was referred to a Kathmandu hospital for diagnosis of his illness five days ago. He is experiencing low blood pressure. Bed-ridden at Phaplu-based Solukhumbu District Hospital on oxygen support, he is worried about his deteriorating health.
