SINDHULI, JUL 02 -
All the VDC secretaries in Sindhuli district tendered their resignation on Friday citing security reasons.

District Chairman of VDC Secretaries’ Welfare Protection Forum Dhan Narayan Tamang said the secretaries had decided to quit due to threats from various underground outfits. He also accused political parties of demanding huge monetary contributions from the secretaries.

Meanwhile, 43 VDC secretaries in Kaski district, who had resigned en masse recently, returned to work on Friday as the local administration and political parties pledged their security.
