KATHMANDU, JUN 28 -
At the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala, senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader, L. K. Advani is arriving here next month. According to sources, the date of his proposed visit to Kathmandu is around July-end. “We are expecting the itinerary of his trip within this week,” a senior Foreign Ministry official told the Post.

It is yet to be decided who he will be meeting, but given his political credentials he is likely to meet President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and other senior political leaders, sources said.

He is one among the leaders in New Delhi who always gives room to Nepali politicians when they visit there. “He was very keen to visit Kathmandu and go to the Pashupatinath temple,” said sources. On her recent trip to India, minister Koirala had held a meeting with Advani and invited him.
