The Cabinet on Wednesday gave the nod to the Nepal Army (NA) to invite Indian Army Chief Gen. V. K. Singh for an official visit to Nepal.

Wednesday’s Cabinet also approved the visit of a 15-member NA delegation to China scheduled for Sept. 17-27.
The government has also endorsed the US visits of Director General of Military Operations Maj. Gen. Gaurav Shumsher Rana from Aug. 2-6 and Valley Commander Maj. Gen. Daman Ghale’s visit from June 6-18.
The Cabinet has proposed Maj. Gen. Nepal Bhusan Chand for the post of Force Commander for the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara.
